Marriage Retreat
The MISSION POSSIBLE Marriage Retreat will be held at CEDARCREEK COMMUNITY CHURCH in Eau Claire, WI.
Our Guest Speakers Steve and Colleen Sonderman regularly speak at couples retreats and seminars. They impart encouragement, laughter and honest examples from their own marriage. Steve has been an Associate Pastor at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, WI for the past 27 years. He regularly consults and leads seminars for churches from a wide range of denominations to assist in developing local men’s ministries. Steve also speaks at men’s conferences and retreats around the world. Colleen is a physical therapist at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and loves to invest in the lives of women.
Steve and Colleen have been married for 28 years and enjoy hiking, reading, dinner with friends and spending time with each another. They have four grown children; Kristin and her husband Efosa, Angela and her husband, Kurt, Tim, and Jon. Since they are empty-nesters, they have a baby Newfoundland dog.
Teaching Sessions
MISSION: REMINISCE – LIFETIME & LEGACY
In Steve and Colleens most popular talk, they look back at 28 years of marriage and share ten key lessons learned and make practical application for everyone listening. They will discuss how to talk at an emotional level, what forgiveness looks like, how our past affects our future, and a host of other topics.
MISSION: MYSTERY
During the course of a marriage there is a tendency for something or someone to replace ones passion for your spouse. They will discuss what that looked like for them, and how you can restore the passion in your marriage.
For Cedarcreek:
WE are reaching out to Coulee Rock Community Church and inviting them to the marriage retreat this year. They’ve been busy serving the Lord in the La Crosse area and to serve them we are looking for members of Cedarcreek who would be willing to host a family on Friday night before the retreat. Also, if you would be willing to share childcare with the family you host. If you are interested in this please fill out the insert you receive in your brochure.
For Coulee Rock Couples:
In an effort to bring as many couples from Coulee Rock to Eau Claire, the members of Cedarcreek would like to host families that would prefer to come the night before the marriage retreat. Our hope is that arrangements can also be made with your host family for childcare, if needed. If you are interested in this please fill out the insert you receive in your brochure.

Retreat Fee: $40 per couple. Includes materials, teachings, snacks, and catered lunch.
Childcare: Please note child care will not be provided.
